How I Stay Involved
Executive Board
In my junior year, I applied to be on the Executive Board for my class of 2020. The Executive Board is in charge of fundraising and managing school events including class merchandise, senior prom, as well as other smaller events.
Link Crew
Link Crew is an organization that helps facilitate a smooth transition for incoming freshman. As a link crew leader, I am expected to keep in touch with my assigned freshman, and to help them be successful in their first year.
Metaphysics
Between my sophomore and junior years, I participated in metaphysics cub. Each month, there was a lecture from a college professor of metaphysics and the different ways the world is viewed.
National Honors Society
Again, this volunteering program is part of the school and help me to be selfless and devoted to improving the lives of others. One of the activities we do that hs the biggest impact is the Blood Drive.
Robotics
Senior year I joined robotics mostly out of curiosity about the subject. In robotics, we program, code, design, and build robots. We then advertise and compete with robots from other schools to complete various tasks.
PeaceJam
PeaceJam has probably had the biggest impact on my life; through every activity, I am able to come out of it with a widened perspective on the ability I have to make a difference.
